More About Jobseeker Services

Building a Stronger Workforce

Capital Workforce Partners connects local non-profits, businesses, training providers, and community organizations to create a full range of programs that help people grow their skills, explore careers, and find meaningful work. By working together, we make sure residents of North Central Connecticut have the support and opportunities they need to succeed.

Through the American Job Centers, we provide guidance on unemployment services, career exploration, hands-on training, and one-on-one coaching. Our programs are designed to prepare job seekers for real careers with local businesses that are looking for skilled, motivated talent.

Explore Career Pathways in High-Demand Industries

Our partnerships make it possible to match people with the right opportunities. Training providers help learners gain industry-recognized skills. Non-profits help remove barriers to work. Employers share what skills they need now and collaborate on hiring, training, and on-the-job learning.

By connecting job seekers with training, resources, and employers, Capital Workforce Partners helps residents build brighter futures and strengthens the region’s workforce — supporting both personal success and the local economy.
