This event celebrates the achievements of individuals and organizations who’ve partnered with Capital Workforce Partners to advance careers and strengthen Connecticut’s workforce. From young professionals gaining skills and experience, to adults earning credentials and pursuing new opportunities, these stories show the power of determination and support.
We also honor leaders and businesses driving workforce innovation and investing in employee growth, as well as those who go above and beyond to connect communities and improve systems. Together, these efforts build a stronger, more inclusive, and future-ready workforce.
Future Workforce
Honoring youth in CWP partner programs who’ve advanced their career goals through WIOA training, hands-on experience, and/or internships. These young professionals have developed vital workplace skills, from resume writing to on-the-job learning, showing readiness and drive to succeed in today’s workforce.
Adult Jobseekers
Recognizing adults who have reached their career goals through programs like WIOA, CareerConneCT, the Good Jobs Challenge, and American Job Centers. These individuals earned credentials and took the initiative to build better futures through training and hard work.
Business Leaders
Celebrating individuals who’ve worked with CWP’s Business Services Team to drive workforce initiatives, solve sector challenges, and contribute to Regional Sector Partnerships. Their leadership has strengthened both their industries and the state’s workforce.
Business Champions
Recognizing businesses that have boosted productivity, supported employee advancement, and invested in training. These organizations show how leadership and collaboration can strengthen Connecticut’s workforce and create meaningful impact.
Workforce Ambassabor
An individual that has gone above and beyond to develop strong workforce development practices and/or make connections to build the community around Capital Workforce Partners.
Workforce Professional
Awarded to a workforce professional who has shown exceptional dedication to system improvements, teamwork, and professional development. Their work continues to make a lasting difference in people’s lives across the North Central region.
