Are you between 16 and 24 years old and unsure about what’s next? If you’re not currently in school or working, the Opportunity Youth program is here to help you gain real job experience, career skills, and a paycheck while you figure out your future.

What Is Opportunity Youth?

Opportunity Youth is a paid internship program that gives young people 115 hours of work experience, professional development, and access to support services to help them move forward. This program is part of the Opportunity Youth Year Round Youth Employment and Learning Program and is funded by Capital Workforce Partners (CWP).

Through this program, you’ll get:

Paid work experience – Gain hands-on skills while earning money.
Job placement – Get matched with an employer to build your resume.
Professional development – Learn workplace skills to prepare for your career.
A potential job offer – Some participants are hired by their placement employers, while others walk away with valuable experience to pursue similar jobs.

Who Can Join?

This program is open to young people who:

✔️ Are between 16 and 24 years old
✔️ Are currently not in school or working
✔️ Want career experience and job skills
