NBC Connecticut Segment Shares the Benefits of Hiring Workers With Disabilities
Jill Larmett, CWDP, Disability Resource Coordinator at Capital Workforce Partners (CWP) recently joined NBC Connecticut’s Jane Caffrey for a segment about how CWP’s programs at the American Job Center helps workers with disabilities connect with employers and find meaningful work. They talked about how October is Disability Employment Awareness Month and Jill shared how CWP offers programs aimed at helping individuals with disabilities secure employment opportunities in inclusive, supportive workplaces. Jill also highlighted the fact that workers with disabilities can meet a crucial need in the workforce, especially as employers nationwide face worker shortages.
