After several innings of play, Capital Workforce Partners loses a great youth employer engagement specialist, and a partner in workforce development programming to return to New Britain as the General Manager for the New Britain Bees. Acting President and CEO Alex Johnson and the entire CWP staff organized a farewell lunch that included hamburgers and hotdogs, popcorn, other stadium-type eats. And Gerry brought in the New Britain Bees Mascot “Sting” to help with the farewell. Gerry will always be part of the CWP team, and CWP will likely be in the stands for many a New Britain Bees game this coming year. Thank you to Gerry for all his years of service to the communities we serve, and good luck. Now, it’s time to “play ball.”
