Hartford, CT (January 19, 2026) – Capital Workforce Partners (CWP) announced today that it will relocate its headquarters in Hartford to 350 Church Street, just three blocks from its current location at the State Capitol. The move will take effect on February 1, 2026, with operations continuing without interruption.

The new headquarters will continue to serve as a central hub for workforce development initiatives, employer engagement, youth employment programs, and regional partnerships, reinforcing CWP’s role as a leader in Connecticut’s workforce system.

“This move is about positioning Capital Workforce Partners for the future while staying rooted in the work that matters most,” said Alex Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Capital Workforce Partners. “From supporting employers with the skilled workforce they need, to helping job seekers and young people access real opportunities, our mission remains the same. Our new location on Church Street allows us to continue this work seamlessly and collaboratively, without disruption, as we build stronger pathways to employment for Connecticut businesses and residents.”

Capital Workforce Partners plays a vital role in strengthening Connecticut’s economy by supporting businesses with access to qualified talent and helping employers build reliable labor pipelines across key industries. Through its partnership with the American Job Center network, CWP also connects job seekers to education, training, and employment opportunities that lead to sustainable careers.

Each year, SYELP provides thousands of young people across the region with paid work experience, career exposure, and critical professional skills. These programs remain a cornerstone of CWP’s mission and will continue to be a shining example of how workforce investment can change lives and strengthen communities.

This transition to a new location reflects CWP’s ongoing commitment to efficiency, collaboration, and long-term service to Connecticut’s workforce and business community. All programs, partnerships, and services will remain fully operational throughout the move.
