Young Men Who Dare to Be Great
Kemoy (l) is a senior at High School Inc. He has applied to Eastern CT State University but is considering enrollment into the Army or National Guard. His ultimate career goal is to become a Crime Scene Investigator. Kemoy is thrilled about his internship at the Boys & Girls Club-Northwest as he enjoys working with children. He enjoys assisting school-aged children with their homework and monitoring their day-to-day after school activities. In his words.... "he has built a rapport with the students and hopes to return in the future to volunteer."
Royquan (r) is a senior at High School Inc. He will be attending Manchester Community College in the fall. When asked about his career goals, he would like to become a veterinarian but also enjoys working with people with disabilities. Royquan stated "this internship site is a perfect fit for me since I have previous experience as a camp counselor. I enjoy working with people (young and old) and this program allowed me to do just that and be productive during after school hours."
Both students are scheduled to graduate on June 17th....CONGRATULATIONS!!!
