Steve Elson "Building" His New Career
"ENCORE!Hartford and the FIRST program at CTWorks (part of the American Job Center Network) helped me discover my passion, and enabled me to transition into the nonprofit sector," said Steve Elson. A former commercial developer, Steve is now the Development Manager at the Women's Institute for Housing & Economic Development where he manages affordable housing development projects at various stages in the development process including feasibility analysis, acquisitions, architectural oversight, financial structuring and applications, construction monitoring, and asset management.
