How the American Job Centers Help Employers Find Qualified Workers through Customized Recruitment Events
The American Job Center – New Britain held a recruitment event, Jan. 4 with BOSS Pro Staffing which is a staffing agency new to the East Hartford area (November 2016). BOSS Pro specializes in full-cycle recruiting: direct hire, contract-to-hire, and temporary assignments. They try to find the right job for each person based on their needs and experiences. Jennifer Murdza, the hiring recruiter, told us they had a good turn out and 75% of the people interviewed were qualified and had the experience needed for the job requirements. Those who will be placed into manufacturing positions through BOSS Pro, will be hired a temp-to-hire basis which gives both the employee and employer an opportunity to see if there is a great fit.
BOSS ProStaffing is one of hundreds of employers in the region who have benefitted from the www. CTHIRES.com job bank, and talented workforce professionals at the American Job Center to recruit individuals for open positions. In this case, BOSS Pro is hiring assemblers, installers and machinists for a company in the Plainville/ Farmington area. After eleven candidates were interviewed, Ms. Murdza felt confident that at least seven of the candidates will get a call back to start their new jobs.
