Happy Halloween - See CWP's Winning Decorated Pumpkins
These pumpkins were decorated by CWP employees as a result of the United Way fundraising effort this year and selected from a pumpkin patch of 13 pumpkins. Our distinguished panel of outside, independent judges included:
- Jon Kniering, University of Hartford
- Sonya Richmond, Goodwin College
- Nancy Scirroco, Webster Bank
- Wayne Vaughan, Fuscient
While these pumpkin contestants did not have to participate in an evening wear, swimsuit or interview contest, they were judged in two categories of judging: a) artistic interpretation; and b) technical merit.
Winning first place in Artistic Interpretation was Mom and Baby with Breast Cancer Awareness theme, decorated by Mortgage Crisis Job Training Program Consultant, Marisol Concepcion.
Winning first place in Technical Merit was "the Baseball" by Youth Employer Engagement Specialist, Gerry Berthiaume.
Congratulations to our winners and to all who participated. Please be safe this Halloween.
