2011 - 2012 Incumbent Worker Training
This grant is available through Capital Workforce Partners, the North Central Workforce Investment Board, to companies focusing on Manufacturing, Allied Health and Green Technologies, in the Greater Hartford area, to up grade skills of existing employees.
The training must result in employee achievement of skills upgrades, increased wages or attainment of transferable skills to avoid a lay off. Grant can be applied for 50% of approved training costs.

On-the-Job Training
An On-the-Job Training grant offers the opportunity to train a new employee at 50% of their pay for up to six months while they are being trained to become more skilled on the job.
Candidates are identified and will be pre-screened for your job requirements.
Minimal paperwork is required. Invoices are reimbursed promptly.
